I apologize ahead of time for this bio seeming very srs bidniz. I was trying to get across a few things about my Munk I thought would be nice to know up front, but he's a little hard to sum up...
...And hopefully he doesn't seem like he stepped out of a soap opera. Darn it, Munk.
Name: Munkustrap
Alias(es) (ie. Human, Tribe, Alter Ego): Stripes, KITTEH (Hey, the house has kids)
Nickname(s):Munk, Munky, any other idiotic name his brother decides to call him.
Alliance (Jellicle, Macavity, Stray, House Pet, Other Tribe):: Jellicle, occasionally a house kitty
Bio Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation (Optional): Most cats think he's straight as they come, but he really isn't. To be fair, Munk would usually go after personality before looks or gender. But even then, he isn't so cut and dry.
Age (Human Years): 25, but looks as if he's in his mid to late thirties due to stress.
Relations (Parents, Siblings, etc.): Tugger is his brother. I'd usually have Mac too BUT we'll see.
Appearance: Munkustrap actually can be rather handsome in a rugged sort of way. His body is riddled with various scars from fights, which he makes no attempts to hide. His fur is thick, a lovely platinum colour with many defined black stripes; a muscular build lies underneath the fur, not too bulky, but there's no way you could miss it. He usually wears very proper clothing, nothing rough looking. Very gentleman-like. His face has well defined, chiselled features, but his eyes are usually very soft.
Personality: Munkustrap is seen by most as a stick in the mud with no sense of fun. There's more to him than that. He has some serious Superman syndrome. He must keep everyone safe at all times. It's why he gets so aggitated at rebelious teenagers who won't do as he says. Really, his father put more stress on him than was fair, and thus brought this on. In his effort to not let his father down, he feels he must make sure everyone is safe... which never works. He can attest, it never works. Someone gets hurt, and he feels horribly for it. And some, some have paid the price for what they have done. It's hard to see this tom, with such a gentle paw towards others, and think that he has killed others before. Even with the battle scars, it's hard to think his code of ethics would ever allow him to kill anyone. Well... it has happened. In some very unimaginable grisly ways at that. Not that he wishes to boast and talk of it... and he wouldn't dare tell you part of him liked it. Perhaps though, it really was bad for him; his mind has a tendancy to get scattered at times, which accounts for a den filled with clutter and random tinkered projects that will never be finished. So, yes, something has triggered him to be somewhat mentally unstable, but he does his best to keep a handle on it.
To be completely honest, what triggers the main of his mental disorder is a semi-constant worry, a nagging he has, that he refuses to tell to anyone. Somewhere out there, he has a daughter who was born when he was seventeen. He never told anyone, and it has brought him no consequence, but in his later years the guilt has piled on him. If he didn't have the responsibility of the tribe, he would have gone searching for that queen and the kitten already, to try and make what is wrong, right.
Life Story (Important for Original Characters): Munk was born into the Jellicle tribe, his father being the leader. Being the most responsible of his children. Munkustrap was told at a young age he would be the eventual leader. Let's just say 'double gulp' doesn't cover it. He stressed himself out over it before he was even being taught the basics. But it doesn't seem as if it's done too damage to the others, so... why worry about how it makes him feel?
Munk, with an older brother like Tugger, wasn't exactly kept innocent, but he wasn't like his brother either. He had to be proper, keep up appearances to others. So, he went through a... undercover rebelious stage, for want of a better term. He couldn't bear to think of anyone being dissapointed in him, so kept all of his little ventures under wraps. When he was sixteen, he met a queen, who thought he was cute; it all went on from there. First it was all wonderful fun, then it got too serious... then he found out she was pregnant, and felt horrorfied. She wasn't exactly calm about it either, but certainly seemed more level-headed than he. He was obviously not ready for this, and was more worried about what everyone would think of him than anything else, being foolishly young and his priorities far from straight. By the time the kitten was born, it had been agreed that the queen would go to her old home to raise their daughter. The kitten is undeniably his, with similar fur patterns, gray with hints of a powdery brown. He stayed around long enough to name her, and be in partial awe of the kitten, then let them leave, without even realizing he was setting himself up for a lifetime of guilt that would haunt him almost everytime he laid to sleep. He still remembers roughly where the queen said she went, and wouldn't mind searching for them.... except, he has to watch over the tribe, and part of him still doesn't want them to find out that their 'perfect' Munk could ever have done such a thing.
Anything Else: To alleviate some of the heaviness I've made here. Munk also likes to wear femmy clothes in the private of his own den. Hey, he likes skirts. Not that he'd let anyone know that. Also, likes to wear shiny silver underwear, it makes him feel pretty.
