I have lacked motivation lately. I feel like the world is smushing me and I'm not my normal happy-fucking-ray-of-sunshine self. I'm slowly getting it back, but tonight for some reason I decided to do makeup, which is something I haven't done in a LONG time. I don't really count MTAC, because it wasn't 'for fun' in the sense of... I was just putting it on... because.
SO. Cinder. I love Cinder. She is one of two characters I own who honestly have their own... being, I guess. They think for themselves, almost, and I couldn't tell them what to do if I wanted to.
...Well... I can tell Xander what to do, because he listens since he doesn't guide himself very well, being a perpetual child... Cinder I can't control. XD
Anyway! Enough with the potentially loony talk. I have wanted a Cinder costume since 2007-2008 or so. The biggest thing that kept me from starting: the makeup. I tried twice and couldn't make it look right. I wanted to keep it traditional but... it just didn't seem like Cinder...
My first try was before I got the contacts:
Though I don't think lack of contacts is the real issue, even tohugh green eyes ARE important to her.
The second time, was sloppy. But I'd just gotten the contacts and wanted to try it. Still definitely not Cinder.
Yeah. I suck. =P
Tonight was another sloppy makeup. I'm not syaing it's great. But I looked at these photos, and I'll be damned if I didn't think 'CINDER' immedietly.
Yeah... costume... needs to happen... now. I'm like... crazy excited about this. More than I should be. XD
I'm actually more surprised, I don't really look like myself. Like, in the first two makeups, I think the being of Taintie was sorely present... if that makes sense. At all.
