I have an art thread over on the CCDB, and several of you others have one here, so I figured I'd put one up, too. :3 Just a few of my newest drawerings - I swear there will be CATS related stuff soon! For Ena. <3 For Roxanne. <3 Grando 181 for ABT. In loving memory. I love it when you sing to me And you You can sing me anythingFor a sketch jam thing over on livejournal. Basically, leave a comment with a few references for a character or two, then go through the comments and draw something for anyone whose character inspires you! ...Okay so I do have one CATS thing. Her name is Artemis, she's a grey tuxedo queen, and... that's all I know about her. I'd love to throw her into the mix here, but I haven't a clue about personality and backstory. So, feel free to throw suggestions at me! Awkward anatomy is AWKWARD. Ugh, fail. Anyway, couldn't be bothered to go back and redo the whole thing, because I just wanted to get the concept down, really.

Really? Huh, cool. Thanks I also occasionally paint, with acrylics on canvas. Here, have my two most recent paintings. My biology teacher, who has taught me so much, been really supportive of me, and made me realize that I want to go to university to study biology (and kept encouraging me, telling me that of course I can do it), and who is an incredibly intelligent man, knows just about everything worth knowing about animals. We tend to end up discussing all sorts of stuff for hours on end, and one day we started talking about books, and endangered species, and books about endangered species. I mentioned "Last Chance to See" by Douglas Adams and Mark Carwardine, and the kakapo. Torben had never heard of the kakapo. Whaaaat. So of course, I had to show him this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6A7uFSbRJ5wHe was highly amused. Anyway, I really wanted to paint something for him, as a thank you for everything he's done for me. I graduated on March the 12th, and gave it to him before leaving. He loved it. For my aunt on her 60th birthday

This is what I started out with: It's been lying in my art folder at this stage since february 2009. About time I start working on it again. And this is where I am now: There will be foliage in the background, and I'm considering adding fireflies. We'll see. A cow and a doe. I do like me some ladylovins! The cow, Willow, belongs to me, and the doe belongs to my dear friend Heather. We randomly agreed one day that they would make an adorable couple, so I couldn't resist drawing some mush! ...I swear I'll do some DDTM arts soon. >_>

Anoushka coloured. Christmassy Rumple. Oh hey, look, it's Artemis. Trying to nail down a design for her. I think I found it. Much much better than my previous attempt elsewhere in this thread. I'm going to make simple little things like this one for all my OCs.
