Etcy thought about heading back to her den, but she was too angry to go home and sit. She made her way through the junkyard, too mad to really care where she went exactly.
Her anger kept building as she was walking, replaying what had happened over and over. She came to a clearing and just couldn't take it any more.
"Damn it! Stupid fucking idiot! Why the fuck would you..AAH!" Etcy shouted as she kicked at a rusting car. She didn't understand what was going on. Was that how toms really acted towards queens? Just doing whatever they could think of to get some action?
Sitting down on the car, Etcy punched the hood before putting her head on her knees. She had never been this angry. She didn't know what was going on.

Jellylorum was wandering through the junkyard, ever on the lookout for anyone in trouble. It was what she did most days, tried to keep tabs on everyone and make sure everyone was happy. It was simple, really.
She hadn't been keeping as close an eye on the kittens today as she normally did. They were older, and theoretically more responsible. However, she had a nagging feeling she should go check up on them, and was on the search for them when she heard the outburst of profanity.
Her concern led her to follow the voice, which seemed to be fairly close to her. Jellylorum was mildly surprised to see only little Etcetera, sitting on a car.
"Etcetera, was that you? Your language, dear! Really, a nice kitten like you should not be saying such profanity!" Shaking her head, she made her way to the kitten's side, her shocked expression softening as she took in Etcetera.
"What's wrong, sweetheart? You look so upset."

Etcetera quickly looked up at the voice, not expecting anyone to show up. Normally should would have relaxed a bit, seeing it was Jellylorum, but considering how angry she felt and considering it was Jelly's son who caused the anger, Etcy just tensed up more instead.
"Sorry." She replied, looking away and crossing her arms over her stomach, "I'm fine."

Jellylorum tilted her head at Etcetera, her brow wrinkling. "Are you sure? You aren't acting like yourself..." Frowning, she patted the kitten's shoulder, wondering what on earth could make cheerful Etcetera act like this. Caring for the kittens was a responsibility she had taken on, and she would be damned if she was going to let Etcetera get away with telling her she was 'fine'. Excuse her language.

"Just... had a bad day..." Etcy shifted a little. She was starting to feel a little uncomfortable. How was she going to be able to tell Jelly that her son had... grabbed her? Part of her wanted to tell her, let Pounce get what he deserved, buy part of her just wanted to forget it all happened.

"Oh, I'm sorry, dear." Jelly hadn't registered Etcy's discomfort yet, still caught up in her motherly concern and wish to make everything okay. "Bad days happen, I'm afraid. Do you want to talk about it?" Although Jelly normally covered up her bad days out of fear of burdening others, she knew that talking helped many cats feel better. She couldn't imagine that she would be the last person Etcy wanted to talk to.

Electra had dragged Olivia and Jemima along with her searching for Etcetera after they discovered she wasn't in her den. Electra knew her friend probably wouldn't return to the main areas of the junkyard, since that's where those morons usually were.
The Junkyard wasn't all that huge, after all. How far away could she be? It wasn't too long after Electra started to think they might be lost that she heard some voices and followed them. Well, if it wasn't Etcy, they could at least see if whoever it was had seen them.
"Etcy! We were looking for you!" Electra grinned, running up to her friend. "Are you okay? You seemed so-" She abruptly stopped talking, realizing who was standing next to Etcy. "Oh, hey Jellylorum. Um... What's up?" Of course Pounce's mum had to be right there. Did she have to go poking her nose in everything? Electra could hardly do anything without Jelly appearing, being all sweet and concerned or whatever. Parents were so damn stifling, thank god Electra didn't have any.

Jemima ran to keep up with Electra. She skidded to a halt just in time to not crash with the fire-coloured queen. She was also about to say something, but snapped her mouth shut when she realized Jellylorum was there. How would she react if they told her of her son's misbehaviour?

Etcetera was just about to reply to Jellylorum when Electra, Olivia and Jemima run up. She looked from one to the other, unsure what to do now. Letting out a frustrated groan, she put her head on her knees and covered her head with her arms.
The only way this could get any more uncomfortable would be if Pounce showed up.

Olivia was a little slower than the other two, catching up and unsure of what to say. "Hi mum." She smiles at Jellylorum and then looks to Etcetera. What was she supposed to say? She didn't exactly want to get her brother into trouble, but he had done the wrong thing.

"Oh, hello girls." Jellylorum smiled, diverting her attention from Etcetera to miss her exasperation. "I was just asking Etcetera why she was upset. It seems you three already know, though." She raised an eyebrow, before smiling at her daughter. "Hello Olivia, dear." It was so lovely to see Olivia spending time with friends. That girl was on her own far too often. Honestly, sometimes she worried Jelly more than Pouncival. At least he spent most of his time with friends, even if those friends were a bit rowdy and a bad influence on her boy.

"Um...." Well, now what could she do? Etcy looked uncomfortable as hell, Jelly was.... well, Jelly. Concerned and motherly, but since Pounce was involved, everything was awkward. Electra shrugged, scuffing her toe in the dirt.
"Uh, it's nothing Jelly, really. He was just being an idiot, you know. It's fine, right Ecty? Nothing to worry about." Her eyes darted about, casting out for a distraction. "Hey, maybe you should go check on.... someone else." Real great diversion, Leccie. "Like... Like Sillabub, I bet she's gotten herself into trouble or something."

Etcy lifted her head, eyes wide, when Electra used the word 'he'. Her eyes quickly darted to Jelly to see if she caught the slip before returning her gaze to Electra. "Of course its fine, Leccie." she replied through clenched teeth, giving her friend a warning look. More and more she just wanted to pretend like today never happened. She wished they'd all just leave.

She isn't the best at hiding things, thus she merely smiles at her mother without saying anything. She looks to her friends, a little worried about Electra's mention of 'he'. 'He' raised questions, and she hoped her mother wouldn't continue, as it seemed (by her observation, and she wasn't all that good at observing) that Etcy didn't want to talk about it. But she knew her mum was clever, she always got the truth out eventually (or maybe that's because Olivia is terrible at hiding things from her).

Jellylorum raised an eyebrow at Electra. Little alarm flags were flying up in her mind. He. Combined with Electra's peculiar behavior, it was enough make her suspicious. "Who was being stupid? What happened?"
Her eyes flickered between the girls and finally settled on Olivia. "Olivia. What happened?" She hated picking on her daughter. She knew Olivia wouldn't lie to her and hated exploiting that. But a mother had to do what a mother had to do.

She knew her mother would get the truth out soon enough. She kept quiet as Jellylorum spoke to Electra; Olivia knew that Electra would be able to resist the power far better than she could, and was really, really hoping that she would not be asked. And then it happened. She nibbles her lip and looks at the other three girls before looking back at her mum. She couldn't lie to her, but she didn't want to get anyone in trouble, let alone her brother. But he did do the wrong thing.
"Umm...well...he...uhhh..." She looks again to the other girls with a huge apologetic look on her face. "He's just...uhh...probably going through a phase...I think..." She looks to the ground briefly before looking back at Jellylorum. "Teenage boys and all...and...uhh....yeah..." She nervously holds her tail, desperately hoping not to be pressed further. She could only beat around the bush for so long.

Etcy looked at Olivia, her face blank. 'We need to teach that girl to lie." She didn't really like where this was all going and she wasn't sure she wanted to see what happened once Jelly heard the whole story. She was afraid it would all come back to her.
"Its nothing. Don't worry about it." she said as she stood and started to walk away, not really making eye contact with anyone. "Come on. Lets go do... something..."

Jemima frowned and hooked her arm with Etcetera's. Her friend didn't seem interested in telling Jellylorum, so Jemima decided to keep her mouth shut. She wanted to let Etcetera know she was there for her, though, so she stayed close to her.

"Etcetera! Jemima! I'm not finished with you girls!" Jellylorum sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "I'm sorry, girls. You four aren't in trouble, of course. I do hate to yell and make a big deal out of this, but really. We're all living in this junkyard together and it's very important that we all get along. So if someone upsets you girls, I want to know so I can have a serious talk with that person."
Shaking her head, she looked back at Olivia. "So, it was one of the teenage boys, was it? Olivia, dear, I'd really like a name and a misdeed, please." Jelly hated being the bad guy, working a simple name out of the poor girls.

She feels terrible, especially considering that Etcetera did not want to bring the issue up. But she had no choice, she couldn't lie to her mother, and yet she had to answer.
"Umm..." She looks around to the other girls, before looking back to her mother. "Umm...well...yeah...uhh...I don't really know what happened, I didn't see it...but...yeah..." At this point, she didn't want to mention any names, for she didn't want to get her brother into trouble, but he had done the wrong thing. She lowers her head and mumbles "Pounce."
