i go by a lot of names online but these days, i go by my World of Warcraft main's nickname, Per. i used to go by Kalamity/Calamity with the CATS community a looooooooong fucking time ago. aah, sue-age.

uh. live in SoCal, play WoW all day, trying to find work. like to run around dressed as a Troll and make a lot of Warcraft-related comments. i love my car, the Permobile, and i've probably got a lot of hit lists out for me cuz i'm a dick to people who deserve it on the road. currently getting into the steampunk thing and working on devising a steampunk doctor.

I'm Taintie. And I'm awesome. Okay, I'm usually not that awesome at all.

I'm a dork. As far as the WoW vein, I'm the one that got my dad and sister addicted to it, having gotten it for my birthday several years ago - However, I can't get into the actual game worth a damn, because I start to bore, even though all of the elements are there that -should- add up to me loving it. I however LOVE the toys and cards and am skirting the idea of collecting them (because everyone knows, I do NOT need to collect any more things to collect), and I adore murlocs. Yes. SAVE THE MURLOCS. =P

Also, I was a sheep at MTAC and almost got eaten by an orc. Truefax.

So, yes. I enjoy making things, usually. Knitting and sewing things, just... yes. I've ALWAYS enjoyed it, always tried to make costumes for as long as I can remember. So I've been into costuming and attempting to make my own costumes, since... my entire life. XD

Collecting, as Imentioned earlier, is my vice. It makes me happy. But sucks up a lot of my money, if I'm not careful. Things I collect:

Batman Toys (Mainly: The Joker, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, and Man-Bat)
Calico Critters/Sylvanian Families (They're insanely cute, don't judge me!)
Animal skulls and pelts. Screw you PETA.
Rocks. I like rocks. I love rocks. Hurr.
Stuffed animals. Not as often though, because I can overload on them quickly.
TRANSFORMERS. Hurr. Enough said.
My Littlest Pet Shop. They're way expensive though so I get one or two once in a blue moon.
I've been looking at My Little Ponies lately, especially the babies. I blame CS.
Pokemon Cards (I will buy Pokemon merch off people. Cards prefered, but I REALLY want certain toys and plushies... just... uh... putting that out there)
Magic: The Gathering Cards
And some cards of an adult nature because it makes me lul.

There are some other things, like Beetlejuice, and I've been looking at some Gremlin toys at Toys R Us. Oh. And the WoW toys.

I'm actually making a website mostly for inventory perposes of what I have, I might link to it later. XD Organizing my collections soothes me, probably evidenced by the fact that I reorganize my pokemon cards obsessively...

Anyway. That was a whole LOT of nothing. I'm just. Yeah. Awesome.

WoW is addicting. i play on an RP server. the lore is amazing if you ever feel like reading up on it (wowwiki.com).

Hahahaha, Katie, that's pretty much the best thing ever. Hard Like Heroic cracks me up. Have you seen Ninja Raiders? The Beyoncé cover? That's pretty awesome, too.

Maca - I used to be hardcore Horde, and have two t-shirts to prove it ("For the Horde" and "Camp Taurajo - Welcome to Kodo Country"), but my ploy to get my best friend addicted failed. She went Alliance. Sooo I rolled an alt, to play with her sometimes, and she got me into her guild, which turned out to be the best guild ever, and before I knew it, I only played Alliance. My hunter is a draenei, and my druid used to be a tauren, but is now a night elf (I miss my brown cow!), because all my friends are Alliance now, and so my poor Horde toons started gathering dust.
I still prefer the Horde, by far, but yeah, ah gots nobody to play with there

I also play on a rp server - Darkmoon Faire. Only recently actually started roleplaying there, though, ahah.

Also, "that stupid tiger"?! Ffff. I have been farming the raptor for my draenei for ages, and it refuses to drop. ;_; I'd love the tiger, too, but my best friend and I fail at two-manning it, and the rest of my guild hates ZG, so yeah. Baww.

i've got a few mounts on farm. i got the raptor though, without even wanting it - but hell, it counts towards the 100 mount achieve. i'm at 88. D: shoot me.

i play on Sentinels. small little server but i love it to death. <3 you know, i can glitch the tiger boss in ZG so he'll just go to enrage/tiger phase, so the zealots drop off and you just fight him down. but you are stinky Alliance. poop!

the funny part is that your friend is like me and my best friend. Heather dragged me into WoW kicking and screaming and we rolled Nelves. i got bored with my drood (i think everyone rolls a Nelf at least once in their WoW career) and curiously started playing a Tauren. never looked back. XD i tease her about it all the time like OMFG GO HORDE ALLIANCE DROOLZ but it's all in teh lulz.

Hahaha yeah, my plan backfired epically. I'd been playing for a week when her interest was perked, but yeah, while I was all about the Horde, she went for poncy Alliance. Fail.

Draenei are pretty awesome, though. And I like the IDEA of the nelves, their lore and everything, I just... hate their models. WTB NEW ONES, BLIZZ.

Tauren and draenei are my favourites. Apparently I have a thing for horns, hooves and tails. >_>

At least we get worgen come cataclysm, that's not quite as pink, purple and girly. I wants me a woof fire mage >:3 I WILL MELT YOUR FACE. Or, if that fails, maul you. Either way, I win.

Still though. Painfully girly Alliance or not, I wouldn't still be playing if it weren't for my guild, so I guess it's okay. Can't wait till August - we have a one week long rl guild meet each summer, and it's always tons of fun.

And ugh, I kind of hate you for having the raptor. The raptors are one of my favourite land mounts, and the one I was saddest to lose when I race changed my tauren (she had the olive one). I desperately want it for my draenei. And I want the raven lord for my druid. Also still waiting for my green proto drake to hatch, meh. I keep getting those stupid white birds. Do not want.
I am slightly mount-obsessed. I think my hunter has, hum, 55? Something like that. I got the albino drake and the red drake the same day. XD I still like my green netherdrake best, though. And possibly my sparkle pony, which I am ashamed of spending real money on, but he is SPARKLY and PRETTY and I call him Stardust.

i really hate the raptors. they're far too bouncy. i caved in and got a sparklepony and now i don't have to worry about racial mounts ever again! unless i want to be an achieve whore. never fails. that stupid green proto drake eludes me, JUST LIKE FUCKING BARON RIVENDARE'S BONY PONY. SO much rage about it. i'm farming that stupid thing on top of the tiger and a crapton of others. XD want raven lord. ;__; so pretty.

you should farm the white cockstrider from heroic Magister's Terrace. i have it. i have 88 mounts.. working slowly on 100.. *strangles self* i did also recruit myself and end up with the two person flying rocket. >.> everyone rides my rocket. kekeke.

I kind of hate twitards. Collectormania Copenhagen was overrun with them last year, which made me sadface. Especially because John Rhys-Davies was there. That's right. JOHN RHYS-DAVIES. And, while I was hovering by his table, still working on mustering the courage to approach him (because I am a a big fan of his, and a massive Lord of the Rings fan, the book and movies mean more to me than I will ever be able to put into words, and just... yeah.), two twitards walk by, complete with "I *heart* Twilight" t-shirts. One girl says to the other "oh, look, it's that guy from Princess Diaries!". Mind you, there was a MASSIVE poster on the wall right behind him of him as Gimli and Salah from Indiana Jones. A small piece of me died.


Fuck yeah.

you know, i saw this on the CCDB and i just wanna say WORD UP to LOTR fans. my first real RP toon on Sentinels is a bit of a mary sue and i make fun of him for it, but love him anyway. the point of mentioning that is because i named him Peredhel. he's a halfbreed. u see wat i did thar? there's a lot of LOTR references on Hordeside, too. Gilgalad, Voronwe, Thranduil, and i've even seen Earendil with the proper accents. fuck yeah. nobody even got Perehdel's name reference for a long time until Thranduil saw me in General. he was probably the second to ever get it. XD so sad.

i've also got Grantaire, the happy drunken Tauren.

He totally is, and he's SUCH a sweetheart, and will talk and talk and talk with his fans forever - he was, like, half an hour late for the photo shoot, because he refused to leave his table until he'd talked to everyone hanging about!

At one point, while I was still hovering, he got up and left the room, and as he walked past me, he smiled and winked at me. I don't care that he's three times my age, I pretty much died of squee right then and there.

You can juuust barely make out one of his fingers under my arm in the photo - the cheeky bugger was tickling me!

His panel chat was brilliant, too. Whenever someone asked him about Gimli or Treebeard, he'd instantly switch to using their voices, and pretty much answer the questions as the appropriate characters.

Someone asked him how they'd made him short for the movies, and he just deadpan went "whaddayamean short?!", fixing him with his best Gimli glare. It was priceless.

And, that's awesome! I read The Lord of the Rings when I was twelve, and have been meaning to re-read it ever since, but haven't really read any Tolkien since, so I'm kind of rusty. Shameful, I know. I swear I will re-read everything eventually, though. I just have SO MANY unread books waiting in my bookcase, and I keep buying more. It's a weakness, I have an addiction to books (and DVDs). >_>

Ooo tattoos! I know about tattoos! I have 2 of them and would definitely like more. My first one was an arm band I got in college that I want to turn into a short sleeve but I don't know how/what to do for that since its a pretty finished design. I actually wouldn't mind having that one removed/covered up, at least partially. I don't hate it, but I don't really know why I got that particular design. It has a heart. I'm not a heart person.

I got my second one in September at a tattoo party. It's a Gaelic proverb I had put on my wrist. I love the idea of text tattoos.

This is my arm band the day I got it done. I had the heart recolored at the tattoo party since the rainbow massively faded. The orange was non-existent. Its now green blending into blue.



And my wrist tattoo. <3 It translates to "Long stitch, lazy tailor." This was also taken the day it was done. I need to go back and get a few places touched up.
