"I don't know if it's so much fear as just..." He stalled. As what?
"I don't even know what it is. But I don't like it. At all." His face dropped considerably then.

"You need to be more sure of yourself," Victor said. "Plato couldn't pick on you so much if you didn't let him. Just show him up. Be more confident. Don't let anyone get to you."

He looked to the side as he scratched at his forearms, uncomfortable with that. Be more sure of himself--it was hard to do. There wasn't the right sort of motivation, he believed.
"I'm not as angry," Tumblebrutus finally said. And, after a longer hesitation, added, "you... really like him... and you're happy... so... I forgive you."

Victor just sighed. "I really am sorry. I never intender to hurt you. But you will find what you're looking for. You just need to be patient."

Patient... that's what everyone said to be when they didn't have another sort of answer. It was upsetting, more so because patience wasn't exactly the answer. Nothing moved forward, and Tumblebrutus had no trouble waiting. He waited for everything, it seemed, at least since Claudia was killed. The change in the rambunctious tom's personality then was notable--he still was athletic, still off the walls though an elegance accompanied it.

"By the way...uh..." Victor began. "Have you seen Plato around? I'm not sure if he's still mad at me."

"Why would I see Plato around? I try to avoid him since he's so mean," the cat replied, a bit confused, and then more so. "He's mad at you?" An eyebrow quirked. "Plato doesn't get mad at anyone really. I don't think he does, at least. What'd you do to piss him off?"

"He doesn't like Misto," Victor offered as an explanation.

"I... no. I haven't seen him."
Tumblebrutus shifted his weight. "Did you... want to look for him or something? I could go."

Victor shook his head. "I just hope he doesn't try to hurt Misto over it," he said. "Because Misto will probably defend himself too well."

Tumblebrutus was a little quiet then, hands shifting in his lap a bit. Sometimes he forgot about Mistoffelees' powers, but when he remembered the power of the explosions, it was overwhelming almost. The cat had the potential to be a true danger.

Victor sighed. "Still, at least I have one piece of information to make him back off. Apparently Plato did some quite...interesting things when he was drunk."

Tumblebrutus raised an eyebrow skeptically. Piece of information? Interesting things when drunk? What could Plato have even done that'd make him back off? He couldn't fathom a single thing. And certainly the tom didn't try to mask that sort of confusion as he shifted his weight and simply said, "Okay..?"

"You mean you haven't heard?" Victor asked. "A bunch of them got drunk, and Plato made out with Alonzo who gave him a hand-job," he said smugly. "You must remind me to call them fags at some point."

Tumblebrutus was silent, staring with his jaw slack, cheeks starting to flush so scarlet his fur turned pinkish. Partially that was out of embarrassment for the toms, essentially what he thought the definition of heterosexuality and "MANRY-ness" as they often put it. And, guiltily, a part was from him picturing the scene. As much as he got nervous around them, mainly Plato since he bullied Tumblebrutus more, he couldn't deny just how attractive the two were. Especially Alonzo.
And, in embarrassment, he did what he could do: giggle somewhat girlishly, awkwardly.

"Exactly," Victor said in response to the giggle. "Plato is defiantly not at straight as he thinks he is."

"I... oh my God..." The giggling turned into laughter as he covered his mouth. That's... that's... that was crazy! Plato? Plato?! "You... you need to call them fags... as soon as you see them." He snickered a tiny bit, blushing as he looked away. "And Alonzo... God... I'd... never have thought him either..."
God... why... why... why?

"Ah, the wonders of drink," Victor said. "Not so fun when you didn't want to normally do it. I wonder if they remember it."

"Was it really that bad that they wouldn't? I mean, I've never been drunk before..." Or even drank, but Victor didn't needto know that. The tom didn't quite see the appeal to it all.
